Broadcasting/ Live Streaming

Being a good steward of someone else's money often means being as resourceful as possible. Many churches are challenged to find enterprise quality solutions, but with shoestring budgets. By being wise and frugal, we can spend smart, and have more resources for the primary mission.

The general idea for all streaming setups includes similar parts. Often, the largest difference is the number of video sources.

Questions to consider:

• What should viewer see?
• What should the viewer hear?

Audio

If working with an existing PA system, the audio feed for the live stream can come from an aux mix, similar to sending to a monitor.

Video Sources

This can be as simple as a single camera to a capture card, or as complex as multiple cameras and presentation software to a video switcher.
